Sound Designer - Temporary

Sound Designer – Temporary

We’re looking for a Sound Designer to either join us at our studio in Solna, Stockholm or work remotely.  You’ll work with both big and small projects in various game genres, mostly in the console, PC and VR market.

Your Role

At Two Feathers we work with both music and sound on multiple projects and are often the full audio team for middle-sized companies that do not have their own in-house solution.

We’re a small studio of two but with big projects, and we’re working mostly from a generalist perspective. Your role would be to create sounds in all its full colors. From recording to editing, designing to technical implementation. You will work with both stylistic and realistic, as well as VO editing and content creation.  At Two Feathers we work in a very similar way as you would do in-house at a game-dev studio, keeping a close contact with the dev-teams through slack, manage Jiras, and regular visits to the dev studios.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience working in games as a sound designer.
  • This is a temporary full-time sound design position between April-December 2020.
  • You have experience working in one or more middleware, such as: Wwise, Fmod, Fabric
  • You have experience working in either or both Unity or Unreal.
  • We prefer you to work from our studios, however, since we can not offer a relocation, we are open to you working with us remotely as well.
  • We work with Logic X as our primary DAW, and knowledge in that is a plus, but we prefer you to work with the DAW that you feel you can do your best work in.
  • Highly proficient in either English or/and Swedish.
  • We’re looking for someone who can have fun with working on multiple different games in different genres.
  • The one who would fit in our studio is someone who would strive in a very social environment and aim to broaden their knowledge in various genres and soundscapes.
  • Knowledge in coding and visual scripting, in either C# or C++ is a plus but not a requirement.

What We Can Offer You

At Two Feathers you’ll find a social environment in a bigger studio complex with 25 other music and sound studios with focus on different industries. Working from our studio, you’ll consistently visit game studios in Stockholm and work with their games within the engines. Here you’ll work on both big budget games with huge publishers as well as interesting indie games in varied sizes.

Application

If this is something for you, don’t hesitate to contact us! To make our process easier, please include these things about you in your email application:

  • A portfolio that showcases your current knowledge and skill level the best way possible. Don’t worry if you feel there’s only one project you think does that. Quality over quantity! Preferably we want you to showcase sound together with visuals, and if there’s something in there you’re extra proud of.
  • Tell us a bit about yourself, why you’re interested in us, what type of sound you enjoy doing, what you’re currently doing and your availability.
  • A CV with past experience and knowledge in DAW, Engines, language, studies etc stated.
  • if applicable, references is always a plus but not a must!

We’re looking forward to hearing from you! Send your application to
